Learning Beyond the Classroom

Students of BSN Batch-1 (Semester 2) at Jibran College of Health Sciences & Institute of Nursing participated in an educational community and field visit to the slaughterhouse at Takhtaband. The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to public health, food hygiene, sanitation, disease prevention, and environmental health. It allowed students to observe real-world practices and understand how proper hygiene and safety measures contribute to protecting community health. By observing the working environment and hygiene procedures, students developed a better understanding of the role nurses and healthcare professionals can play in health education, disease prevention, food safety, and community wellbeing. A Valuable Community Health Experience The visit was an informative and engaging learning experience for the students, strengthening their practical understanding of community health and preventive healthcare.
